Budget Alley: Privacy Notice

What's collected

• From your Google account: your name, email address and profile photo. That's all we get from Google; we never see your password.
• What you enter: your budgets, categories, accounts and balances, income and expenses, and notes.

Where it's stored

• Your data is stored in a Supabase database hosted in Singapore (ap-southeast-1), encrypted at rest and sent over encrypted connections.
• The app runs on Vercel. Invite emails are sent through Resend (they only see the invitee's email address and the project name).

Who can see your data

• The people you add to a project can see that project's data. Nobody else using the app can see it.
• As the person who runs the app, I can technically access the database. I won't look at your data unless you ask me to help with a problem, and I'll never sell it, share it, or use it for anything other than running Budget Alley.

What you can do

• Download your data anytime (Project settings → Export).
• Delete your account and data anytime (Account → Delete my account). Deletion is permanent.
• Ask me to correct anything, or ask what's stored about you: peterallanmdavid@gmail.com.

Keeping it safe

Access to each project is enforced by the database itself, not only by the app's screens, and it's tested automatically. If I ever learn that your data was exposed, I'll tell you promptly.

Changes

If this notice changes, you'll see the update the next time you open the app.
